February 25th and 26th, Rijeka, Croatia
Double CACIB organized by the Cynologcal Sports Club Rijeka (Sportski Kinoloski Klub Rijeka) with a total entry of 1715 dogs, 837 on Saturday and 878 on Sunday. Judges by 11 judges from 3 nations (Croatia, Slovenia, Italy) makes an entry of around 80 dogs per judge.
Best in Show on Saturday was judged by NIKOLA SMOLIĆ (HR) and on Sunday by PIERLUIGI BURATTI (I).
JASNA MATEJČIĆ (HR) had the honour to judge Supreme Best in Show.
The PAPILLON, NEW GENERATION DE COSTALINA, BREEDER: JAN ROOSENS, OWNER: JANINE KLEIN, GERMANY (Breed entries: 6) went Best in Show on Saturday and Supreme Best in Show on Sunday.
Sundays Best in Show was awarded to the LAKELAND TERRIER, PAPERMAN TERRA WORTMANN, OWNER & BREEDER: FRIEDRICH-WILHELM SCHONEBERG, GERMANY (Breed entries: 4)

Saturday: BURATTI PIERLUIGI, IT (96), DOKOZA IGOR, HR (96) & KRSTIĆ ARBANAS MIRJANA, HR (95)
Sunday: DOKOZA IGOR, HR (96), SMOLIĆ NIKOLA, HR (95) & GAJIĆ ŽELJKO, SLO (94)
Best scoring breeds:
- Whippet (28/24 dogs)
- French Bulldog ( 25/25 dogs)
- Am. Staffordshire Terrier (21/23 dogs)
General Impressions:
Nice organized, clean show. Friendly team. Very nice main ring. We loved the industrial look 🙂 Very limited space indoor. Should limit entries at 700 or max. 800 dogs. Cold weather & no heating. Enough parking space, but small and crowded entry to the parking.
