The past years have been hard on most human being around the globe, and those involved in the dog world were no exception. Professional dog photographers who provide photos for magazines, among other things, were hit hard by the pandemic. The war in Ukraine has hit our colleagues in Ukraine and Russia.
The World Dog Press Association organizes an annual photo competition with an award ceremony held at a major show. We are proud to present you the winners of the 5th edition of this great award. We are very happy that we have found some great new sponsors for this years competition. This year the winners were announced at the World Dog Show in Madrid, Spain.
Twenty-six WDPA members from around the globe, mainly Europe, but also from Taiwan and Japan submitted 86 photos in four categories: Sports and Action, Portraits, Man’s Best Friend and Hero Dogs.
This years judges were

- Mr. Amit Eshel (Israel, famous animal photographer)
